By Air
If your attendance at the FFY 2026–2028 CCDF Tribal Plan Training requires air travel, Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is approximately 10 miles from the Potawatomi Casino Hotel – Milwaukee.
- A taxicab from MKE to the Potawatomi Hotel takes about 12 minutes and costs approximately $25 to $32.
- Rideshare services, such as Uber and Lyft, take about 12 minutes and cost approximately $25 to $30, depending on traffic conditions and the level of service you select.
By Train
Amtrak offers 14 trains daily (Monday through Saturday) between Chicago and Milwaukee and 12 trains on Sunday. The Amtrak station is located about 1 mile from the Potawatomi Hotel.
- A taxicab from Milwaukee’s Amtrak station to Potawatomi Hotel takes about 4 minutes and costs approximately $10.
Rideshare services, such as Uber and Lyft, take about 4 minutes and cost approximately $10, depending on traffic conditions and the level of service you select.
Shuttle Service
There is no shuttle service currently available to or from the Potawatomi Hotel.
Parking
Parking is free at the Potawatomi Hotel. The free garage has a walkway into the hotel on the upper level. Valet parking is available also.
If you are coming from the parking structure to get to the Training Registration desk located on the Second level: Take the skywalk into the casino and keep straight. Veer right at the rotunda area then keep straight towards the glass windows/doors. Once you go through the glass doors, you will be in the Hotel Pre-function. The Serenity Ballroom and registration area will be to the right.
Driving Directions
From Chicago, Illinois
- Take I-90 West/I-94 West toward Indiana/Wisconsin.
- Use the three right lanes to turn slightly right onto I-94 West, following the signs for Milwaukee/Interstate 94 West/Edens Expressway.
- Use the two right lanes to take the I-94 West exit toward Milwaukee (toll road) and continue onto I-94 West.
- Stay on I-94 West as you enter Wisconsin and continue onto I-43 North.
- Take Exit 72A for Michigan Street/10th Street.
- Take North 13th Street, North Emmber Lane, and West Canal Street to West Potawatomi Circle.
- Turn left onto West Michigan Street and continue onto West Tory Hill Street.
- Turn left onto North 13th Street and continue onto North Emmber Lane.
- Turn right onto West Canal Street.
- Turn left into the Potawatomi Casino Hotel – Milwaukee at 1721 West Canal Street.
From Points West
- Take I-94 East toward Milwaukee.
- Take Exit 310A toward 13th Street and turn right onto North 13th Street.
- Continue on North Emmber Lane and turn right onto West Canal Street.
- Turn left onto South 16th Street and continue on West Potawatomi Circle.
Turn right into the Potawatomi Hotel at 1721 West Canal Street.
